Smoked Sea Trout



Our sea trout are a strain of Rainbows which have been grown in the sea waters of Loch Melfort on the West coast of Scotland by Kames Fish Farming who have Quality Trout UK accreditation.  The trout are reared in accordance with the Marine Scotland Code of Best Practice.  Sea trout looks similar to salmon, but has a more delicate flavour.  Our special smoking and marinading methods draw out the subtle, and delicate flavour of this beautiful, and tasty fish.


Portion guide - Allow approximately 75g-100g per person for a smoked sea trout starter and 150g per person for a main course.
