Prices are to be paid in £ Sterling and are exclusive of delivery charges. Delivery costs will be added as part of the process at checkout.
Our smoked products are exempt from VAT.
Online payments are made by credit or debit card through PayPal.
Telephone and e-mail orders can be paid by credit card, debit card, bank transfer or cheque.
All payments must be cleared prior to despatch of the goods.
All prices are subject to change and are correct at the time of ordering.
Delivery and despatch:
Delivery is available for mainland UK, and delivered by Royal Mail 1st Class standard delivery, parcel force or carrier. The standard delivery service is not a guaranteed service and can arrive within 2-3 days of despatch.
Applecross Smokehouse will not be held responsible for orders not delivered due to incorrect or incomplete delivery details, letterboxes too small to accept the parcel or if the recipient is unavailable and cannot take delivery.
For orders with instructions for parcels to be left in a particular place, it is at the discretion of the postman/postwoman to carry out these instructions. If a parcel is not delivered in the given time, it is the responsibility of the customer to contact their local Postal sorting office to check if it is being stored there.

Orders up to 2 kg will be delivered by Royal Mail 1st Class standard delivery, or parcel force, from Monday to Thursday. When ordering, please allow 3-4 working days for despatch of your order. If we are unable to supply a product to you within this time we will contact you by email.
Orders over 2 kg will be delivered by carrier and dispatched on a Wednesday. When ordering, please allow 4 working days for dispatch of your order. If we are unable to supply a product to you within this time we will contact you by email.
When your order is placed online, you will receive a confirmation email. Cancellations to your order must be made by 12 noon, three days prior to the order being despatched. There is no right to withdraw after this period as all our products are prepared to order.
If the goods are delivered with obvious damage, you must inform Royal Mail or the carrier on delivery and you must contact us immediately. We require a picture image in jpeg format of damaged goods sent to us as proof to forward to the carriers.
Shortages or Complaints:
Shortage of order or any complaint regarding the goods must be reported to us by email, or the online Contact form, within 24 hours of receipt.
Arrival of Goods:
All perishable goods must be refrigerated on arrival and the use by dates complied with.
Disclosure of personal data: Your privacy is very important to us. Your data will be transferred to the shipping company responsible for delivering your goods. Your payment details are passed to the financial institution you instruct with your payment.
Data Protection Law: We do not disclose your information to any other parties other than stated, however if we have links on our site and you click onto those then you are passing on your information freely.
Applecross Smokehouse is only liable for damages that are based on intent or gross negligence. In the event of any breach of important contractual obligations, Applecross Smokehouse is not responsible for indirect damage and in particular not for loss of profit. Applecross Smokehouse cannot guarantee the continuous and uninterrupted availability of its website, and are not responsible for technical or electronic errors of the website.
If any provision of these Terms is invalid, the remainder of the contract shall remain valid.
These terms and conditions are governed by the Law of Scotland and in ordering from us you signify acceptance of these terms and conditions under the jurisdiction of the Courts of Scotland.
