The sea trout fillets are brined and then cooked over whisky soaked oak shavings.  They are supplied with the skin on.

This is delicious served as a canapé, starter, cold or warmed through in the oven or sealed bag.  Serve as a main course.  For that celebration breakfast or brunch, flake the hot smoked sea trout through your scrambled eggs and serve with a glass of bubbly.

Great Taste, which is organised by the Guild of Fine Food, presented this product a 1 star accolade in 2016.
