Still the best I’ve tasted anywhere

This smoked salmon is absolutely magic. Often if you smell a side of smoked salmon, all you can smell is smoke. Not here; you smell salmon and the sea. The smoke adds a delicate note but it’s fish first, smoke after. And the texture! Not waxy but fresh, close-flaked, melt in the mouth. I don’t know how Derrick does it but long may he continue.

We order this every year. It has a really good smoke and we freeze it and slice as and when we're having a treat. It makes a great Christmas present.

Salmon from Applecross Smokehouse has been a great addition to Christmas and other occasions over several years. Other tasty items have also been enjoyed. Ordering sometimes backed up by emails or personal contact has been easy. David and Lorna communicate well and their products are a real treat. Highly recommended.

I ordered last year, and tried various Applecross offers, but this is my favourite, so versatile. I can slice it or cut fillets to heat for a main meal. makes gorgeous sandwiches with cream cheese!

This is a top class firm textured smoked fish, with a strong Smokey taste and distinct ‘whisky’ flavour. If you prefer a rich enhanced smokey taste, then you just have to try this. Its addictive !

This is the best smoked salmon I have ever tasted. The fact that it is unsliced means that it can be cut to your preferred thickness. Would definitely recommend it!
