Our hand sliced cold smoked salmon is smoked using the traditional method of curing, then gently smoked over whisky soaked oak shavings. Our curing method is special as in addition to the salt cure, we add demerara sugar and dark rum, these ingredients give it our own distinctive flavour.
Serve as a canapé, starter or main. Savour this on the palate - you won't forget this flavour.

Given to me at Christmas by a friend who has raved about it for years. Served as canapés and a starter on Christmas Day. The quality and flavour are outstanding, Applecross will be my go-to from now on. The difference between everyday smoked salmon and Applecross smoked salmon is scary! Proper quality.
